Gold and Silver nanoparticles have attracted substantial interest from the 
scientific community for over a century because of their unique physical, 
chemical, and surface properties. Dispersed gold and Silver nanoparticles (also 
known as Colloids) can be implemented in a variety of applications, such as 
non-linear optics, electronics, surface enhanced spectroscopy (used in tumor 
detection), pigments, biology, sensors, biosensors, drug delivery, dentistry, 
coatings, and DNA sequence detection, among others.

relationship with materials science researchers at Clarkson University, has 
released a revolutionary new nano silver formulation that features a high 
concentration (up to 60% silver content), sub-20nm silver colloidal solution 
and can be specifically formulated for conductive ink or thin film 
applications.

metal concentrations. Their size can be accurately tuned from ~10 to 160 
nanometers, which makes them suitable for a wide range of practical applications. 
Scientists have known for decades that gold nanoparticles not only have unique 
properties but are also well tolerated by the body’s immune system.
Silver has been extensively used in the manufacture of electronic components 
for decades, as have its metal cousins, copper and gold. The less metal 
needed, especially when one is using expensive metals like copper, silver, and 
gold, translates into lower cost. The nagging problem has been that the added 
cost of making the nano solutions themselves has more than offset the savings 
in metal content that the solutions offered, rendering them unviable as 
alternatives to traditional methodologies.
