13. Cataloging Process
STEPS 1
1. Scan the Barcode of the book (ISBN)
2. Check if the title exist in stock
3. Add copy/copies if there is an existing
title of the same book in the stock
4. Create a new bibliographic entry if the
library does not have the same title in
the stock.
5. Save your document

1. Generate spine labels for the
book/books
2. Generate Barcode labels for the
book/books
3. Fix the labels on or in the books
4. Book is ready for shelving and
borrowing
