Habib ul Rehman
Future indefinite tense is used to talk about the events
or actions which will be happen in future.
Examples
 We will visit the zoo.
 I will play cricket.
 They will go to Multan.
Future Indefinite Tense
Sentence Kind
He will go to Lahore. Simple
He will not go to Lahore. Negative
Will he go to Lahore. Interrogative
Kinds of Future Indefinite Tense
Identification in English
Helping verb (will / shall) + 1st form of verb
Sentence Structure
Subject + H.V(will/shall) + 1st form of verb + object Simple
Subject + H.V(will/shall) + not + 1st form of verb + object Negative
H.V(will/shall) + subject + 1st form of verb + object + ? interrogative
I be twenty next Saturday. (will/shall)
It not be Diwali in a week. (will/shall)
I will cricket. (play/played)
 you go to Lahore. (will/shall)
I will call you when he back. (come, will come)
Exercise
Future continuous tense is used to talk about the
actions which will be in progress at a time in future.
Examples
 Ali will be playing cricket.
 I suppose, it will be raining when we start.
 This time tomorrow it will be sitting on the beach in
Singapore.

Helping verb (will/shall + be) + 1st form of verb + ing

I teaching to students tomorrow. (shall/will be)

I’ll be late at the office tonight. (work, working)

Future perfect tense is used to talk about actions which
will be completed by a certain future time.
Example
 I shall have written my exercise.
 He will have completed the assignment.
 We shall have reached the Lahore tomorrow.

She will have the work by Wednesday. (finish, finished)

They have shifted to a new home. (will not, shall not)

Exercise
The future perfect continue tense is used for actions
which will be in progress over a period of time that will
end in future.
Examples
 By next March we shall have been living here for four
years.
 I shall have been teaching for twenty years next July.
