2. Analyze The Learner
•
Who?: 22 1st graders with 9 boys and 13 girls, with 8 African
Americans, 4 Latinos and 10 White students.
•
What?: Students will recognize their surrendering's of what is living
and not living
•
How?: Students will learn through visual, verbal, and hands on aids.
3. Objective
Students will recognize and analyze living and non-living objects
through discussions, presentations, books, and coloring pages by the
end of the week with 100% accuracy.
4. Day by Day
•
Day one: introduce topic by coloring pages, and read What are Living
and Nonliving things.
•
Day two: Power Point comparing and contrasting, *homework* to go
to our class website
•
Day three: find pictures of living and non living objects online
•
Day four: Make living objects and non living ones
•
Day five: Field trip to the living museum
5. Technology
•
The class website will be used to post pictures the student and parent
chose to, for class discussion the next day.
•
Blogs will be used to start class discussions, webquest’s as well
•
Find kid friendly YouTube videos to show relations
•
The Smart Board will be used so the students can draw what they
think is living and non-living
