3. This photo was taken by using the rule of thirds. We have also involved
negative space in this photo, making the boy in the picture the focus
point. The photo also appears to be framed with black shadow corners
because of the lighting, however it helps to frame the photo.
4. This photo was taken from a birds eye view angle as it is looking down
on the boy sat on the sofa. It is a useful angle to use as it shows a
perspective which is not frequently used or seen often. We also
considered a small amount of negative space and included that by
surrounding negative space around the focus point.
5. In this photo we considered both, depth of field and the rule of thirds,
however we felt that the photo doesn’t fit the rule of thirds as much as
we hoped it would. There are two different focus points in this photo.
The depth of field was successful in this photo as the two people in the
back of the photo are not in focus.
6. In this photo we tried to make the photo appear so that it would fit with the rule
of thirds, however it didn’t work as well as we wanted it too. Next time we’re
trying to fit a photo to the rule of thirds I think it would be a good idea to use the
grid on the camera to make sure it fits and has the outcome that we wanted. I
also think there was too many focus points in this photo which distracts away
from the rest of the photo and the main focus point.
