  3. 3. NON-TRADITIONAL MACHINING PROCESS • In this process, a water jet is used ,which act as a tool in the form of a water saw to cut material.It is two types pure water jet & abrasive water jet.   8. 8. ADVANTAGES:- • Cheaper than other process. • Cut any material • Water jet cutting does not produce any dust or particles. • There is no heat affected zones.
  9. 9. DISADVANTAGES :- • Abrasive powder cannot be reused. • It is not suitable for mass production because of high maintenance requirements. • Very thick parts can not be cut with water jet.
