Culture, tradition,
Administration & Life it
started from 1526 – 1857,
Babur - Bah door Sha 2nd.
BABUR ( 1526 - 1530)
H e was an AFGAN RULER
invited by the enemies of
IBRAHIM LODI.
Defeated IBRAHIM LODI in
at PANIPAT.
Great Poet & Administrator.
Died in 1530.
HUMAYUN ( 1530 - 1556 )
 His name means
Lucky Man.
Was a lazy king.
Defeated by SHER
SHAH in 1550 in battle
of Kanauji.
Come back in 1556 but
died on the same year.
AKBAR (1556 – 1605)
The great Mughal King come to power
on his 13th age by defeating hemu in 2nd
PANIPAT.
Great Administrator.
Founder of DIN ILAHI.
Keep good friendship between Rajput &
Sikh.
Found FATHEPUR SIKRI & different
infrastructures.
Died in 1605.
JAHANGIR ( 1605 – 1627)
Usually called PRINCE SALIM.
Gave permission to start east – India
company to trade with India.
He was a great drunk guard.
Marry Nurjahan after the death of
her husband.
His great enemies were his relatives.
Died due to heavy drinking.
Jahangir
SHAHJAHAN (1627 – 1658)
He was not a great ruler by administration
but by an artist.
He found the greatest TAJ MAHAL &
RED FORT.
Married MUMTHAZ.
His rule collapsed the country
economically.
He loved only ART, SCULPTURE,
MUSIC etc.
He died as a Prisoner his own son.
AURANGAZEB ( 1658 – 1707)
 The last Powerful
Mughal Ruler.
He brought back JAZIYA.
His main enemy was
SHIVAJI the great
Maratha Ruler.
He killed by SIKH
