5. How does SOLIDshot work?
SOLIDshot is a technology breakthrough. The system uses multiple sensor nodes to track
the biomechanical motion of your arm with sub-degree accuracy and millisecond precision.
Hundreds of times per second, SOLIDshot:
• Synchronizes the data across multiple sensors;
• Updates a biomechanical model of your arm movements; and
• Determines whether you took a shot.
Each time you shoot, the system instantly analyzes the shot relative to your individual
targets and provides feedback so that you can correct your next shot.
All of this processing is performed on-body – no smartphone needed. This means that you
stay on the court, stay focused on shooting, and make adjustments by glancing at your
arm. Once you are done shooting, you can view your stats and track your progress in the
SOLIDshot app.
