Description:
• The project involved Opening Investment accounts of various kinds. Investment
accounts are considered beneficial to customers of different denominations. Various
banks have increasingly adopted easier, more viable options for customers to make
investments for present and future benefits.
• E.g of one such Investment account that a customercould open at a branch office –
TFSA (Tax free savings account).
• This process was carried out using the graphical user interface developed for the
respective Branch Offices with the help of Forms and Back-end processes.
• The account opening process would go through a typical lifecycle to ensure accuracy
and completeness. The same is verified from the GUI as well as the requests sent and
received are archived as XML files.
• The source and destination XML files were compared and tested based on functional
parameters.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Involved in understanding the requirements create/organize test cases.
• Review the test cases based on functional specifications.
• Accountable for designing Test Scenarios, Performing test reviews & Preparation of
test data.
• Executed test cases and performed tasks related to defect tracking & reporting, and
preparation of daily test report using HP QC.
• Logging Defects and provide Status to the Client through defect triage calls on a
weekly basis.
• Attended weekly and monthly project meetings to closely interact with the
Developers, BA and the Customers.
• Was Involved in Daily Stand-up & Sprint kick-off meetings.

Description:
• TCS Bancs is a Banking Custody Application and various operations are performed from
the frontend Interface of thisapplication.Theapplication possesses key business
modules used forexhibiting real time banking practices.
• It also involves Eod, Bod batches which run from day-to-day and process
transactions.
• . Key Business scenarios included Cash, Trade and entitlements pertained to
customers.
• There were regression scenarios which had to be automated and run on a regular
basis.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Involved in understanding the requirements and interpreting key business scenarios.
• Developed automated scripts using QTP (Worked on two different frameworks –
Data driven and Keyword driven framework).
• Reviewed the test scripts and involved in preparation & analysis of test data.
• Involved in execution of automated test scripts and Tracking the defects through
Defect tracking tool and maintaining the records using HP QC andQTP.
• Worked with establishing connection between Quality center and QTP for test script
execution and test case/ defect tracking purpose.
• Execution and result analysis. Execution of Regression suite on a periodic basis.
• Actively participated the weekly and monthly project meeting to closely interact
with Business analysts, automation engineers, and the Customers.

NFR’s (Non-functional requirements).

ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Won “On the spot” award also known as performer of the Month for Excellent
contribution towards Customer Interaction and Quality deliverables.
• Won “R&R” (Rewards and Recognition) award for Outstanding Team contribution
towards Automation initiatives in Enterprise Custody program.
• Was appreciated for active participation in Team Initiatives and organizational
activities.
