1. 1. Significance and Importance of Studying the Life of Prophet ()ﷺ
SEERAT UL NABI ()ﷺ
In Arabic language Saara (Seerat) is a verb which means to Travel, to proceed, to be on
journey, to move from one place to another typically of some length.
Seerat-e-Nabvi:
Seerat-e-Nabvi means autobiography of Hazrat Muhammad ()ﷺ His sacred teachings
and preaching, style of living, way of talking and dealing, our Noblest and Eternally
Blessed Chief Hazrat Muhammad ()ﷺ is a greatest intellectual and the most discerning
person.
Significance ofSeerat-e-Nabvi:
According to the Holy Verses of the Holy Quran:
(AL-Ahzab Verse 21):
ٌَةنَسَح ٌة َوْسُأ ِ هاَّلل ِلوُسَر يِف ْمُكَل َانَك ْدَقَل
“Indeed in the messenger of Allah (Muhammad ())ﷺ you have a good example to
follow.”
(Al-e-Imran Verse 132):
َونُمَح ْرُت ْمُكهلَعَل َلوُسهالر َو َ هاَّلل واُعيِطَأ َو
“Obey Allah and messenger and perhaps you will be shown mercy”
(Al-Araf Verse 158):
ُهوُعِبهتا َوْمُكهلَعَلَُوندَتْهَت
“And follow him (Muhammad ())ﷺ so that you may be guided.”
BestModel:
Allah has mentioned the character and life of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) as the best model to
be followed by the Human beings to live successful life.
As a GreatestTeacher:
“I have been sent as a teacher”
2. No doubt, Holy Prophet ()ﷺ was greatest teacher .His message was very simple and
inspiring and it was based on human psychology. He taught the Arabs whatever they
knew not ever before. As an educationist, teacher should also bear in mind all the
aspect, of Seerat-un-Nabvi (.)ﷺ
His Teachings aboutPoliteness:
Allah Almighty has sent Hazrat Muhammad ()ﷺ as His last and to teach the human kind
the best ways of living styles. As a para the model of excellent he taught about
politeness, civility consideration and defected.
Allah Almighty has said in the Holy Quran. (Al - Qalam, Verse 4)
“Verily you have been formed with tremendous character”
Significance ofSeeratAccording to the Hadith Nabvi:
Consequently if we obey the Holy Prophet definitely we are obeying Allah and to obey
Holy Prophet()ﷺ we must know what we have to do and what we should not do For this
purpose study of Seerat-e-Nabvi is of the extraordinary consequential and of great
importance.
“I have left amongst you the two things which, if you hold fast to them, you will never
stray. Book of Allah and my Sunnah.”
Very Important responsibility of every Muslims:
“All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to other who are absent”
This is part of Hadith has been from the last and unique address of the Holy Prophet
(ﷺ) in 10 Hijri. He has the made it obligatory that who so ever has listened or
remembered even a single Hadith he must convey it to other Muslims or non-Muslims in
a true sense and spirit.

Nafs:
The soul.

3. Inordinate appetites
Tazkia:
Literally meaning of Tazkia.
To remove containments from something.
To extract something from.
To remove bad substances from something to make it pure.
To keep heart, mind and thinking cleared.
Al-Tazkiya is an Arabic word which means purification. The verb purify means “to make
pure, refine and to decontaminate.”
“To remove bad substances from something especially to remove immoral thoughts
from mind and heart is also called an act of purification”.
Opposite Word (Antonyms):
Antonym of Tazkiya is “Teseya” which means to lead someone astray, hide rightway.
Prevent facts from being apparent or known, attract powerfully to commit sins and
mistakes.
Self-purification:
Self-purification is source of moral and spiritual improvement of personality and
character of believer. Tazkiya is a sense or sensibility to refrain from sins, to desist from
bad deeds and bad habits, to give up all undesireable activities and to get rid of
extremism, terrorism, sectarianism, and prejudice and lauhgty behavariour.
Remembrance of Allah:
The Holy Prophet(ﷺ ) has instructed us to remember Allah as much as we can by
remember, Allah we can utilize our time in a purpose and best way.
(AL-Ra`ad, Verse 28):
“For without doubt, in the remember of Allah do hearts find rest.”
Self-Accountability:
The process being conscious of the habit of self-examining, self-observing and self-
analyzing.
“The intelligent is the one who takes himself to account and works for what will come
after death.”
4. The stupid man is the one who follows his own whims and hope that his desires will be
gratified by Allah at Tirmizi.
The Holy prophet ()ﷺ said:
“Religion is sincerity.”
Sincerity means the quality of being free from pretence, deceit or hypocrisy.
Companions of the Holy Prophet ()ﷺ asked “to whom?” The Prophet said:
“To Allah, His book, His messenger, the leader of the Muslims and to their common
people.”
Allah Fearing:
Allah fearing person is always earnestly and ardently religious. Holy Prophet ()ﷺ has
advised us to purify our innersleves by avoiding sinful life and evildoing.
Fundamental Reality:
(AL Quaff, Verse 100):
“And we are closer to him than his jugular vein”
All the true believer know this fundamental reality that Allah is present everywhere and
every time. Therefore, he or she always avoids and obstain from acts of disobedience
and misconducts.
(Al-Baqrah, Verse 256):
“There is no compulsion in religion”
3. Companions of Holy Prophet (,)ﷺ Azwaj-e-Nabvi and His off
springs.
“Ashrah Mubasharah”
Hazrat Abu Obaidah Bin Jarrah
Acceptance of Islam:
He was among those Muslims who accepted Islam in the beginning and he Was the
ninth Muslim in MAKKAH (once Hazrat Ayesha asked the Holy Prophet ()ﷺ who is
loveliest to you The Holy Prophet said; Abu Bakar, Umer and Abu Obaidah.
Death: He was died in 18 Hijri
5. Hazrat SaadS/O Abi Waqqas:
Acceptance of Islam:
He was fourth or sixth person who accepted Islam and at that time he was 17 years
old.Allah revealed a verse of The Holy Quran:
“If they (parents) press you to join with me another about whom you have no knowledge
do not obey them at all. However, treat them kindly in the world”
Death:
He died in 58 51/54 in the age of 80 at the valley of Atique eleven K.M. far from
Madinah
Hazrat Usman:
Acceptance of Islam:
At the age of 30th he was persuaded by Hazrat Abu Bakar to embrace Islam and his
paternal uncle.
Hazrat Ali:
Acceptance of Islam:
He was the first Muslim among the minors and assured the chief of the Prophet ()ﷺ of
his help and extended support despite his physical weakness. He was one of the 10
Blessed companions.
Death:
During Morning Prayer on 18th of Ramadan murderous attack was conducted on 21
Ramadan 41 AH Hazrat Ali Martyred because he got serious injuries.
Abdul-Rehman Bin Auf:
Acceptance of Islam:
He was acceptance of Islam among those Muslims who embraced Islam earlier. He was
the Eight Muslim. Hazrat Abu Bakar motivated him to embrace Islam
Death:
According to Ibnal Aseer- al-Jazree he died in Madinah in 35 A.H.at the age of 75.
According to Sahaba karam he died in 32 Hijri.
Hazrat Zubair Bin Awam :
6. Acceptance of Islam:
He accepted Islam when he was 15 years old. He was the fifth person who
embraced Islam.
Martyrdom 36 Hijri:
He was martyrdom by Ibn-i-Tamrooz though he decided not to take part in the battle of
Jamal.
Hazrat Talha:
Acceptance of Islam:
He was among those Muslims who embraced Islam in early days. Hazrat Abu Bakar
persuaded him to embrace Islam.
Martyrdom:
He was martyrdom in the battle “Jamaal” 36 A.H. 10th of Jamad-i-ussani near Bassra at
the age of 60.
Saeedbin Zaid:
Acceptance of Islam:
Hazrat Saeed Bin Zaid and his wife Hazrat Fatimah Bint-e-Khattab were among those
Muslim who embraces Islam earlier. They (both) motivated Hazrat Umar to accept Islam
and their effort bore fruit.
Death:
He died in 58 Hijri (A.H) place of Death Aqiq (Madinah Munnawara).
Hazrat Abu Bakar:
Acceptance of Islam:
Among men he was the first man who embraced Islam in the Prophecy of Hazrat
Muhammad ()ﷺ and the Holy Prophet named him Abdullah. He was the first friend of
the Holy Prophet since childhood.
Death:
He died on 21st of Jamadi-ul-Ukhra of 13 A.H (Monday). He was buried very near to the
sacred grave of the Holy Prophet (.)ﷺ
Hazrat Omer Farooq:
7. Acceptance of Islam:
Before embracing Islam on day he intended to murder the Holy Prophet (.)ﷺ After some
moments Hazrat Omer wished to listen recitation and this recitation changed his mind
and he expressed his intention to embrace Islam.
Martyrdom:
On 1st of Moharram-ul-Harram 24 AH Hazrat Omer died as martyred because of these
wounds.
“Azwaj-e-Nabi”
Hazrat Khadija:
At the time of her last marriage she was 40 years old and the Holy Prophet ()ﷺ was 25
years old. The Holy Prophet had two sons and four daughters from her. She spent 25
years with the Holy Prophet ()ﷺ after her marriage.
She died in Makkah after 10th year of the announcement of Holy Prophet`s prophet
hood.
Hazrat Umme Salmah:
She was also known to be the sixth wife of the Holy Prophet (.)ﷺ She was well educated
and scholar lady. She was among those Muslims who have embraced Islam in early
days of Islam.
She died 60/63 AH. She was 48 years old when she died.
Hazrat Soudah:
After the Death of dearest wife of the Holy Prophet ()ﷺ she was excited to be the
second wife of the Holy Prophet ()ﷺ in this regard Hazrat Khadija Bint-e-Hameem
persuade Hazrat Soudha.
She died in 19 AH 674 AD.
Hazrat Ayesha:
Angel Jabreel Ameen proposed that the Holy Prophet ()ﷺ should marry her. Her father
and mother both were Muslims.
The Holy prophet ()ﷺ were at her home when his sacred soul departed from his body.
At the age of the Sixty five she died.
8. Hazrat Rehana:
Before embracing Islam she was married to a Jewish man named “Hakam” of Bana
Nuzzair. After a successful expedition against Banu Quraidah She became was prisoner.
The holy Prophet ordered to release her. Later she was married to the Holy Prophet ()ﷺ
on Moharram 6 AH.
She died during the life of the Holy Prophet (.)ﷺ
4. Collectiveness and Transformation of the Social Order
Ignorant Arab Society:
The untaught and illiterate society of Arabs was a society of fierce tribes’ men there were
many small, uncivilized and uncultured barbarous and brutish tribes which continued the
wars for a long time without any reason.
Status of women:
The most denigrated criticize unfairly and disparaged creature is Arab Society women.
Married were frequently divorced without any reason.
They were deprived of their all legal and basic human rights. Even women were
gambled on. Some Arabs used to bury their new born daughters.
Sinful life:
Sinful life of Arab was highly reprehensible and it was deserving censure and
condemnation. Shameful and despicable, ignorable and inexcusable activities of Arab
were reproachful. Killing the innocent and sinless persons, immodesty, indecency
fornicating, wine drinking, and gambling, looting plundering were unethical behavior of
Arab.
Hadith:
The Holy Prophet ()ﷺ said:
“Seek knowledge from birth onto death”
9. Whosoever walks in the way of knowledge.
Allah makes the way to paradise easy for him.
Modesty:
The holy prophet ()ﷺ was the most modest of this universe. He eliminated obliterated all
these indecencies. He purified the hearts and minds of the human beings. The Holy
Prophet ()ﷺ said:
“Modesty is a part of faith, modesty is all virtue”
Messageofthe Holy Quran:
“O Mankind! We created you from a single pair of a male and a female”
