Key Talking Points:
Our cloud portfolio is build around 4 pillars and the imperatives of „Think it“, „Build it“ and „Tap into it“, embedded into the overall IBM cloud strategy
With cloud advisory consulting, we work together with our clients‘ business or IT leaders to strategize how to best use cloud to get better in efficiency and reinvention towards a fully customer activated enterprise.
Our Cloud Application Services offerings encompass the full application lifecycle to build and manage client specific cloud based applications. With our new YAMaaS offering – Your Application as a Service, we provide a next generation application management model, consumption based, and fully leveraging the advantages of a cloud infrastructure. The IBM Softlayer Cloud Infrastructure and the Bluemix Application Platform capabilities provide a robust and innovative foundation for these offerings.
On the opposite to building client specific cloud based applications, our SaaS Service portfolio supports our clients in directly taping into existing SaaS solutions. We offer consulting, implementation, integration and management services for solutions from IBM (like Kenexa, or Unica), our traditional (??) business partners SAP, Oracle and Microsoft, and from our new partnerships with born in the cloud ISVs like Salesforce.com and Workday.
IBM Cloud Business Solutions represent our next evolution to deliver business value to our clients agenda. They package multiple components into a single, pre-built, but still customizable solution, delivered “as a service” for speed and simplicity. This includes consulting services, pre-built assets from IBM Research, software, advanced analytics, ongoing support and cloud infrastructure delivered via IBM Softlayer, with a Pricing based on a subscription model. We will initially offer 12 such solutions, with plans to bring at least 20 to market this year. They are industry focused and built around functional domains, like Customer Analytics for Marketing, Predictive Maintenance for Operations or Counter Fraud for Finance.
With this portfolio and the single offerings and their combination for specific client engagements, we are well equipped to support our clients journey into the cloud and take maximum advantage of cloud.
Lets put that in the context of 2 specific client examples....
