Discovery: News
The Watson Discovery Service
provides a pre-enriched set of
news articles – over 300,000 a
day! With the query API, it is
easy to look at trends and
aggregations across hundreds of
sources.

Aggregation query
 This core of this app is an aggregation query over recent news articles. The
question being asked is "For articles that contain a given search term in the title,
who are the people most frequently mentioned?"
 The query breaks down into three parts:
query: title:{keyword}
aggregation: nested(enrichedTitle.entities)
.filter(enrichedTitle.entities.type:Person)
.term(enrichedTitle.entities.text,count:100)
count: 0
