2. Abstract
• The project presents a high power density inverter concept for single phase AC power
applications.
• Line inductors at the input and the output of the switching power electronics feature low
electromagnetic interference EMI and provide power conversion.
• A variable DC link voltage minimizes the capacity of the DC link power buffer and allows the use
of multilayer ceramic capacitors with lowest equivalent series resistance and best
electromagnetic interference filtering of the power stack

4. Existing System
• Usually electrolytic capacitors buffer the input power which allows for power separation of input
and output.
• The maximum line voltage thereby determines the DC voltage at the DC link if DC voltage is
inverted by a simple full bridge into an AC line voltage.

5. Proposed System
• The main aim of presentation the proposed cascaded multilevel inverter is increasing the number
of output voltage levels by using lower number of power electronic devices.
• In order to investigate the feature the proposed cascaded multilevel inverter is compared with
the conventional cascaded inverters from the amount of blocked voltage by switches, the number
of required power switches, IGBTs and dc voltage sources points of view.
• In these comparisons, the proposed topology based on its two algorithms is considered.
• These algorithms are shown by 1 P and 2 P for the first and second proposed algorithms,
respectively. The H-bridge cascaded multilevel inverter with five different algorithms as
symmetric and asymmetric cascaded inverters are considered.
