We are Basque Government's public

is to support the Department of Environment,
Territorial planning and Housing of Basque
Government in the development of environmental
policy and in the extension of the culture of

Created in 2011, Basque Ecodesign Center is a public -
private partnership initiative between Basque Government
and private sector companies, with the aim of promoting
and developing ecodesign projects and collecting the
experience accumulated by Ihobe after 15 years Promoting
Ecodesign in Basque Country.
In March 2016, the agreement was renewed with the
incorporation of three new partners: Orona S. Coop, EDP
Naturgas Energía and SPRI.

Methodology and scope:

Ecodesign Classroom project began in 2002 and has been maintained until the launch of basque ecodesign
HUB in 2015, with the participation of 150 students and 75 industrial companies in Basque Country.
Of them, 80% have achieved a job at the end of the scholarship, 60% in activities related to ecodesign, thus
covering a demand from the industrial sector.

systematically or continuously, this percentage amounts to 38.35%.
