Copper Mould Tube
Copper Mould Tube: the key part of continuous casting machine. Molten steel was directly poured to the tube where
solidified to a semi-finished profile for subsequent rolling. The bloom steel was drawn out from the tube after
gradually cooling down in. In order to solve the problem that bloom surface not always keep in touch with the tube, it
remains square or rectangular section with curves in length.
The Copper Mould Tube was taper-shaped from the top opening to bottom; also twin cone, third cone or multi-cone
in its cavity or para-curve shaped. Cone degree of upper part shall be larger than that of the lower part, also cone
degree of plain surface shall be larger than curved one. This could help to avoid any air holes between bloom shells
and inside face of the tube which is more comply with the shrinkage principles of the shell.
