Kontula elderly center: Nano-wellbeing
• The City of Helsinki has built a new Elderly Centre in
Kontula where new innovations were applied.
• Nano CoE was invited to identify and pull in
nanotechnology applicable to well-being sector and
especially to elderly care
• As results:
• Millidyne Oy launched Avalon anti-microbial coating for
well-being sector in 09/2009
• Directional audio speakers by
Panphonics Oy:n were taken into
use in the elderly center
