2. • Survivorship encompasses a range of health issues after
diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
• Physical health and Body Mass Index (BMI) are associated with
improved health and decreased risk of new or recurrent disease
after breast cancer treatment.
• We have developed an App to help patients focus on physical
activity, diet and improved BMI after breast cancer diagnosis.

5. • Survivors download the App then enter simple demographics.
• Next the most appropriate intensity of exercise can be selected.
• The App then calculates how much exercise should be done
over a 10 week period to aim for a reduction in BMI by 10%.

6. • The App allows users to update and monitor their BMI.
• Recipes for simple meals and snacks are provided to help
awareness of healthy diet to promote weight loss.
• Breast cancer survivors often ask “what can I do now ?” to
prevent cancer, this App provides a free and simple resource for
healthy living to improve survivorship after breast cancer.
