Prof. Jaideep Chatterjee has been born and brought up at Patna in Bihar. He is armed with Professional Degrees like M.BA. , LL.B and Army
attachment Training courses from Patna & Magadha University respectively and Ministry of Defense, through Ramghar cantonment with
higher divisional grade and awarded with best performer by Patna Management Association for an extra ordinary contribution in the
difusement of Managerial thoughts and Culture of Management Education across the state of Bihar as a Teacher and Thinker of the
Management Studies.
Present Assignment is; Professor of management studies at IIMS, Salt Lake in Kolkata, Examiner of Vidya sagar and West Bengal University
of Technology and visiting faculty for The Institute of Company Secretary, Eastern region, Kolkata, since 20012.
He has represented different types of Governmental and non Governmental organization and assisted to design and develop various
methods of community development programs in Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and U.P & Bihar as well.
Prof. Chatterjee was one of the members of Bihar planning board as the representative of Patna Management Association from 1996-99.
He has attained and represented his papers on Labor problems in Indian Industry, Population control and their effects in the society,
Insurance policy and their future in India, Phases of Management Studies: Role of Employable skill generation, Food Security, challenges
before future managers, Globalization and it’s effects in Indian customers, Is globalization the only panacea?.Role of Human resource in
practical life and Indian Education System: Impact in real life.
From 2012-2013 he was on an annual research study tour conducted by Government of Nepal and Bihar jointly to find out the causes of
poverty on the region despite full of natural and human resources.
The most impressive work on the reasonable causes about what ails Bihar from others have been completed by him and submitted before
the committee concerned duly accepted for further implementations and the entire work later appeared in a leading journal and selected
by G.D.Birla memorial foundation committee as one of the best original work on the socio-economic issues in India.
He has been an active member of A.I.M.A, I.I.P.A, Common Cause, I.B.S.A, N.E.N, N.H.R.D.N.(Hyderabad), Bihar Bangla Academy, Jharkhand
Bangla academy, N.I.P.M. and A.A.E.I.(Durgapur). Work shop, Seminars, Symposia and Participation in Management Game are the h obby
and frequently taken as the part of the profession in regular manner across the country.
He has considerable number of publications on the socio-economic issues, management studies and on the topics, those often appear and
have been emerged out as the real constraint in transforming our population more educative and become genuine beneficiary of the
demographic dividend. Two research works have been published by ALLIED PUBLISHERS.
Other than management education he has engaged in a research project based on the contribution on socio-cultural and economic arenas
by the Bengali speaking population of Bihar & Jharkhand.
In addition to teaching in the different in the different technical institutions and business scholls under W.B.U.T. or University of Burdwan
he persuades PhD. In Business Management from A.M.U. through A.I.M.A.
Recently he has been rewarded by the Linguistic forum of University of Kolkata, for outstanding contribution in the field of conservation of
mother tongue, in and around Bihar & Jharkhand State.
