Consultation raised the issue that providers are used to communicating with apprentices and have systems in place, from April 6th (now) with the introduction of the Levy they are expected to be able to communicate with employers who want to transparency.
They want to understand what their employees are doing when they are not with the employer – preferably in real time. So they can monitor progress and support their employees.
Can Jisc act as the glue, and brings things together, working with partners, to deliver a replicable, scaleable solution using the learning records warehouse as a base?
