Originally established as the Central Methodist Mission, the organisation focused on social justice and evangelism for the poor and needy of Sydney. Wesley Mission has grown to be a strategic City church with the widest ministry anywhere in the world. Over 2,000 people attending weekly worship services, 3,000 staff and another 3,000 volunteers.   3. 3. Wesley Mission Operations Wesley Mission operate 235 services. • Family Services are diverse and include foster care and accommodation. Number of families helped in last year 3320. • Youth services including counselling, accommodation and camps, helped 2229. • Counselling services last year assisted 5,470 clients. • 1524 homeless people were given accommodation. • Wesley employment services placed 14.543 people in jobs and helped a further 34,157 people prepare for the workforce.
