- How are men like dogs? How are dogs better than men? How are men the parents of dogs? This demonstrates that relational responding is arbitrary, i.e., everything is relatable to everything else (according to language). But that just doesn’t seem like it should be true – right? How can it be logical that everything can be the parent of everything else? Our minds can justify/rationalize a particular “relation.” [different frames] ---------

Science can’t prove a negative, i.e., we can’t say something doesn’t exist. For example, I can say I have never seen Santa Clause with a white beard, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t exist.
