These emails made me feel that
the Unit Team cared about how I
was progressing in the unit %
The emails were fantastic as it made me really feel the teaching team
were there anytime we needed them and were keeping an eye on our
progress, it truly did motivate me to continue to pursue high marks.
I was so happy with the first journal email I got, that I even sent it to my
parents.
Made me feel that someone acknowledged my achievements and
cared, made me feel included and special.
It made my self esteem go through the roof and I felt extra proud.
[The email] encouragement goes a long was especially when things are
getting a bit overwhelming.
It definitely made me feel better about my results and made me want
to do better the next time.

Most amazing teaching I have experienced yet! Jaclyn went above and
beyond with reminders, emails, Facebook, twitter and weekly updates to
ensure that students felt in control of their work (T2 2013).

  • 6. Blended learning is…… Learning that is facilitated by the effective combination of different modes of delivery, models of teaching and learning styles and applying them in an interactively meaningful learning environment.
  • 7. Paradigm shift in learning It is now being recognized that there is a need to blend traditional face-to- face learning with eLearning
  • 8. On a whole education has been slow to catch up

The emails were fantastic as it made me really feel the teaching team were there anytime we needed them and were keeping an eye on our progress, it truly did motivate me to continue to pursue high marks. I was so happy with the first journal email I got, that I even sent it to my parents. Made me feel that someone acknowledged my achievements and cared, made me feel included and special. It made my self esteem go through the roof and I felt extra proud. [The email] encouragement goes a long was especially when things are getting a bit overwhelming. It definitely made me feel better about my results and made me want to do better the next time.

  • 18. “Just wanted to feed back that the D2L page for this subject is fantastic….. it is much more interactive, and student friendly, than any of the other pages I have seen thus far. The YouTube videos are a great idea” (Unsolicited student email T1, 2012).

  • 23. …and include a Twitter widget? Most amazing teaching I have experienced yet! Jaclyn went above and beyond with reminders, emails, Facebook, twitter and weekly updates to ensure that students felt in control of their work (T2 2013).
  • 24. Video Note It made if feel as though we were in the room with the tutors giving us the feedback. Was very personal, and helped reflect on what was done well and what could be improved on (2013 student feedback)
