The University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia will host the 9th International Conference on Currency, Banking and International Finance on September 20-21, 2016. The conference aims to bring together scholars from Central and Eastern Europe and other parts of the world to discuss the experience of CEE countries in overcoming economic integration problems in the EU. The conference will map the economic transformation of CEE financial sectors and highlight new challenges to European economic integration, focusing on issues like macroeconomic imbalances, monetary and fiscal policy interactions, and the impact of the banking union. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and potentially a special issue of an indexed journal. The deadline for abstract submission is June 12, 2016.
