This slide show is part of the materials I developed for a series of two workshops on Living Well into Older Age. The other materials are on wordpress at https://professorjane.wordpress.com/2015/03/10/living-well-into-older-age-vital-involvement-gerotranscendence-joy-and-meaning/
This slideshow is for the 2nd workshop. Both workshops shows that aging, like any other life stage, has its upsides and its downsides. The emphasis will be on positive aging and strategies for coping with the challenges
Joy and meaning in older age happens through vital involvement with family and friends, giving to others, engagement with meaningful activities and active spiritual lives.
Older people and their adult children and grandchildren will find this program full of suggestions for vital involvement well into the advanced years.
