This document provides an overview of a course on social media marketing. The course objectives are to teach students about different social media channels, the role of social media in business, developing social media strategies, and measuring social media marketing outcomes. The course utilizes various tools like Moodle, Facebook, and Google Docs. Students are required to post daily about social media marketing topics, which led to discussion and peer learning. Based on student feedback, they found the practical assignments educational and appreciated learning through different social media platforms and sharing work.

8. Actually lot of these things weren’t that new for me as our university already has a course which also talks about social media in marketing. But there were a lot of things which took my knowledge even deeper and got me thinking in really different way. And the most positive fact is that I really got interested to the social media marketing, and really started to consider using it in my future career in marketing. I maybe should have started my assignments little bit earlier, so I would have maybe produced better text :D . But overall I’m really happy towards my efforts on the course.

9. In my opinion this was a great course with very successful implementation! The way of familiarising students with various networks through submitting assignments to different platforms was a very nice addition to the theoretical part of the course! I liked the final task of making a social media marketing strategy for a real commissioner. The task was highly educational and responded well to the learning by doing mentality of this school! At least my commissioner was very happy with the outcome, and will hopefully implement some of my suggestions!

10. The course was a refreshing and new way of learning for me as most of the social media platforms are not familiar, especially the likes of Pinterest, Dropbox and Scribd. I have been given many new ideas how to use different SoMe channels and I have particularly liked the courses Facebook page as a learning platform. I found it useful and a nice way to learn with sharing and commenting on fellow students reports too. I have got some great ideas from those that I have been able to use for my own studies. The posts on the courses FB page have been really interesting and the main awesomeness about the course is that every piece of information is fresh and current. I am surprised this type of course is not compulsory in the curriculum. The world is changing rapidly and if you are not part of that change, you will miss out on many opportunities.
