6. Nancy Vogler is a woman passionate about
her work. Despite the fact she retired in 2001
from 31 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of
Boston, in 2005 she was back to work again,
this time for Nielsen Media Research. By
2009 Nancy had three jobs.
“At that point I realized I was working too
much, so I dropped it down to just my Nielsen
job,” Nancy explained. “I have recently
started a job with Sun Coast Media Group as
an inserter / sorter and I enjoy the people I
work with.”
Nancy moved to Venice after retiring in 2001.
Her best friend lived here and enjoyed the
warm weather and the quietness of the area.
Initially, Nancy knew only her friend in
Venice.
“I had to place my trust in new neighbors,
new friends, new doctors and dentists and a
new car repair shop.”
Eventually Nancy’s sister, mother and cousin also moved to Venice and Nancy cared for
her mother full-‐time after she made the move.
Besides being a dedicated and loyal employee at Neilsen Media Research and Sun Coast
Media Group, Nancy enjoys reading nearly every day; autobiographies, history and
mysteries are her favorite genres. She also takes pleasure in gardening, walking and
spending time on the beach.
“I live on the island and I love being close to everything,” Nancy said.
Nancy has been a valued customer of 1 Stop Car and Truck Repair since 2005. Back when
she was new to the area, she quickly felt 1 Stop to be a trustworthy business.
“John, Rich and the rest of the crew exude trust,” said Nancy. “Dana, their ASE master
technician, has been with them for a long time and that tells you something. I also like the
family atmosphere they seem to have.”
When Nancy has a problem with her vehicle, she knows she can depend on 1 Stop to find a
solution.
“I’ve never come in here with a problem that 1 Stop couldn’t resolve, almost immediately,”
Nancy said. “It’s hard to trust people these days, so it’s nice to know you can trust 1 Stop
to treat you right.”
