After studying entrepreneurship and new venture management at Boston, Massachusetts’ Northeastern University, Jordan Edwards began developing new business ideas to reinvigorate existing companies, including, most recently, the Mixology Clothing Company. The Mixology Clothing Company is a Long Island-based family-owned women’s clothing chain that has, quite literally, weathered many storms before achieving its current success. In 2013, reeling from the economic impact of Hurricane Sandy, Mixology was on the brink of shutting down when then-consultant Jordan Edwards stepped up to restructure the store, ultimately doubling the company’s revenue in just eight months and earning a new role as president of the company.
