• The objective of the
Identifying Stakeholders
process is to identify all
possible entities (groups,
individuals, organizations,
etc) that may face an
impact from a project or
cause an impact to a
project
7. Stakeholder Analysis
• Find and identify all stakeholders by analyzing the possible project impacts
• Process:
• Identify potential stakeholders and associated information
• Analyze the possible influence of each stakeholder or impact on each
stakeholder
• Assess the key stakeholders and their possible reactions to possible
project situations
• Models:
• Power Interest Grid – group stakeholders by authority level and
interest in a project
• Power Influence Grid – group stakeholders by authority level and
influence over a project
• Influence Impact Grid – group stakeholders by their influence and
their ability to impact a project
• Salience Model – group stakeholders based on their authority level
and their involvement in a project
