La Cantina Nightclub
 Currently, there is no premiere nightclub in the valley who is
dominating the scene.
 La Cantina will be the premier, high-energy, Mexican nightclub
that will not only bring you the best Mexican music but music of
all popular genres such as Rap, R&B, Hip-Hop, Techno, and
more.
Problem that exists
 Provide exceptional service that always leaves an impression
and the customer wanting to come back
 Consistent and GOOD quality of live entertainment
 Manage finances and cash flow to enable upward capital
growth
 Strict control of all costs at all times, No Exception!
Solution (Keys to Success)
 La Cantina will be a general partnership with two other
potential clients. As of now the management team consists of
only one person which is myself, along with two other friends
who are potentially going to be involved as well. Together we
share a single vision: to provide a unique and entertaining
experience through exceptional service.
Business Model
 La Cantina’s competitive edge is reaching out to a younger
target market that includes people with the age 18 and over,
which is not fulfilled to its potential at the moment, and
providing excellent customer service along with a friendly and
clean environment where everybody who comes to La Cantina
will have a unique experience and a good time.
 There is a good amount of High Schools in the valley, which
means there is a lot of students who are at the age of 18 that
can be targeted.
Underlying Magic/Technology
 Many new residents as well as existing residents are members
of clubs in other markets. La Cantina will be a place for all, and
the enabling technology will be a key part of the nightclub’s
image.
 Radio, Social Media= main ways of advertising.
 The Sales Strategy is based on making a sale and creating a
repeat customer through long-term relationships. The sales
force will be divided in territorial areas to concentrate various
market segments. Separate teams will be responsible for sales
revenue from College Students, Tourists, Business Travelers, etc.
Marketing and Sales
 Nightclubs with competing features are:
Tequila Nightclub- allows people 18 and over, provides
similar music genres, similar target market. Known to be small
and dirty.
Guadalajara Nightclub- Only allows people 21 and over,
similar target market. Has good reputation as a Mexican
Nightclub in the Medford area.
Si Casa Tequila Bar & Grill- New bar in town, has occasional
“Latin Nights” that play similar music genres to La Cantina.
Competition
 Juan Sauceda, President. Juan is pursuing a bachelor’s degree
in business management, and looks to work his way up in the
Nightclub Industry in order to gain experience along the way
and pursue the ambition of opening a nightclub.
 Good music contact list that involves different music genres and
entertainers, ranging from groups, solo artists, and DJs as well.
 Juan’s responsibilities will lie primarily with the coordination of
events, and oversight of the operations, and evening activities
of the restaurant and bar.
The Team
 La Cantina’s main objective is to become the most popular
Mexican nightclub in the valley as well as the surrounding
communities for providing a unique nightclub experience to the
city, as well as the locals and regulars. La Cantina will capitalize
on the following core competencies to become the main
nightclub destination in the valley:
-Exceptional Customer Service
-Unique experience
-Big Name Groups/Artists/DJs
-Friendly Environment
-Special Events/Features
Projections
 Currently I am only in the planning stage of my venture, as I said before, I
look to progress and gain experience in the Nightclub industry in order to
turn this into a reality. Once I have gained the necessary experience and
skills to open and manage a business, I plan on opening up a Nightclub
sometime in the next 10 years or so.
Status and Timeline
 La Cantina will require a funding of about $1-$2 million dollars to get the
nightclub up and running. Since the nightclub will be a startup business,
the funds will cover any charges that will be necessary in order to provide
to getting the nightclub opened, including the big “Grand Opening Event”.
All the funds will be going towards opening the nightclub, so the funds
will last about a year.
