3. Architecture is the art and technique to Project, designing,
constructing and modifiying human hábitat, including buildings of all
kinds, architectuaral structures, architectural and urban spaces. For
the ancients Greek, the architect was the head of director of
construction, and Architecture was the technique or art of the person
who carried out the Project and directed the construction of buildings
and structures.
1. The Architecture
4. In architecture the two vital elements are
articulated masses and rhythm; The
importance of linear rhythm in the movement
of architectural volumes is so essential that it
has been called "frozen music".
It is understood by this, that the secret of
architectural beauty is in the proportion, in
measure, in the harmony between the parts
and the totality of the structure; Also in a
building is important the play of lights and
shadows, the harmony of masses and forces,
the composition of hollows and reliefs, etc.
Architecture within art deals with the beautiful,
and within science seeks to solve the technical
problems, as well as the materials that are
being worked on.
The architect must have qualities of artist and
engineer.
5. Modern Architecture has been characterized by the
simplification of forms, the absence of ornament and the
conscious renunciation of classical academic composition,
which was replaced by an aesthetic with references to the
different tendencies of modern art such as Cubism,
Expressionism, Neoplasticism, futurism and others.
The new twentieth-century architecture named by Le
Corbusier, Mallet Stevens, Walter Gropius, Mises Van and
Eric Mandelsohn as "International Style" introduced
simple architectural works, flat surface walls, large
windows with metal frames, and so on. This ethyl has
spread all over the world.
The continuous development of new materials made the
social function of architecture reaffirmed over the years.
The cement made possible the construction of high
structures, the invention of steel was of great importance
for the industry.
6. Social Responsability Of The Architec
Every architect should keep in mind the social responsibility, when
making a work, since these allow him to know the laws and the steps
that he should follow to have no problem with the construction. These
influence both professionally and personally, so we always analyze all
the areas surrounding the project and through the studies the decision is
made whether or not to build the project.
