1) Client: Transition Oracle database patching work from client’s previous off-shore provider to Taos. Attend
on site and remote meetings with customer to gain a good understanding ofthe current patching strategies.
Gather database information for each Linux database serverto be patched. Versions range from 11.2.0.1 –
12.1.0.2. Prepare documentation with all information gathered. Create SOP with detailed steps for
downloading and installing patches and related tools. Work with patching team to create and maintain
patching runbook and related documentation.
2) Member of the Patching as a Service team. Working as a team to develop standard processes and
documentation.
SSN – Sr. Oracle DBA Nov 2012 – Nov 2014
1) RMAN Backup Project:
Installed Oracle 11g and configured ASM and RMAN databases. Created RMAN catalogs.
Implemented RMAN backup reporting for weekly review, emails sent to Taos and SSN. Created
training materials and performed training session for Taos NOC on the handling of RMAN backup
failures.
2) Continuing support:
Assisted the NOC with RMAN issues and when primary Taos DBA not available assisted with tickets.
Setup oracle flashback and implemented block change tracking for incremental RMAN backups.
Made modifications to weekly RMAN report to include time and space statistics for the BCT

execute scripts for data migration from older MS SQL Server database and Oracle primitive data to latest
