2. Monday : 3 Hours
13:30 to 15:00 – Shooting facial expressions.
Going to be shooting various facial expressions to get an
idea of the human face. I am going to be shooting this in
the studio with very basic lighting, casting a shadow on
one side of the face to highlight certain facial features.
15:00 to 16:00 – Editing the photo shoot and printing.
16:00 to 16:30 – Completing work record.
This is the type of strong lighting that I want to
use, with a very strong expression that I am
going to mimic. I am going to look at both fun
expressions and more emotional expressions.
3. Tuesday : 5 Hours (total so far: 8
hours)
9:30 to 11:00 – Planning the shoot.
11:00 to 12:30 – Shooting faces. Different faces and the
differences in facial features. Using the studio with the
ring flash set up. Positioning different models next to
each other. Very natural, no make-up. Essentially beauty
shots.
13:30 to 15:30 – Edit and print. Complete work record for
the shoot.
4. Wednesday : 4 Hours (total so far: 12
hours)
9:30 to 11:00 – Planning shoot and doing test shots on
basic objects such as cans and computers.
12:30 to 13:30 – Shooting faces in the forest focusing on
only half of the person’s face with a short depth of field
behind them to add emphasis to the face. Going to be
using natural lighting and an outdoor location of Epping
Forest.
14:30 to 16:00 – Editing and printing and completing the
work record for the shoot.
5. Thursday : 3 Hours (total: 15 hours)
9:30 to 11:00 – Shooting obscure portraiture. Taking
images of faces partially covered by particular objects
such as glass or feathers. In the studio with simple
lighting creating shadows on one side of the face.
11:00 to 12:00 – Edit and print. Complete work record for
the shoot.
12:00 to 12:30 – Print of up to 10 final prints.
