3. TEACHERS(innovator)
The teacher can pose as a barrier to successfully integrating ICT in schools
because:
The teacher may not be familiar to the newest ways that involve and encourage
ICT integration in schools
The attitude of the teacher towards the new technology
Of the lack of skill in the teacher
The fact that the teacher is not compatible enough with the ICT
4. PROCESS( innovation)
The school may not have the adequate resources needed to successfully
integrate ICT in the teaching and learning process
There may not be network poles to access the internet
ICT in the school, that is, it being old and unmanaged, can become a barrier
in the teaching process
5. Learners
The learners might find it hard to understand the use of ICT
The adaptation from using hard copies to e-books might pose as a barrier
The attitude of the learners to the integration might also become a barrier
7. Remembering that ICT integration is defined as the attitude, interest and
accessibility to using digital and communication tools in order to create and
gather information as well as enhancing communication skills, all the parties
involved need to develop a new attitude toward the use of ICT in the teaching
and learning process.
Use ICT not only to learn about the computer but also as a tool to
understanding the curriculum better.
Use edutainment in teaching and learning process, e.g games.
