2. Blogger
Blogger at first was quite complicated to use as it was something I was not used to and so after
doing the first 10 or 20 blog posts, I got used to the site and found out that some of my Ict
knowledge began to fit in and so I was able to embed things such as the countdown to the charts
update blog by using the html code. I was also able to embed prezi's a, youtube videos and a
cycling Image gallery to help make my blog more intersting.This has made my work easier as it
allows me to access and store my work in one central place and I could access it anywhere.
Throughout this unit i have alearned how to manage a blog
3. Google Docs
Google Documents wasn't as difficult to use as it is basically an online version of Microsoft Office
and so was easy to use. I also learned that you can make an online form which was good to use in
my blog posts to gather information about what people would expect to see in a magazine and I
did this by embed it into a blog post . google document helped make construction easier as it
allowed me to store any work such as the Questionnaire form in the cloud which allowed me
access to it anywhere and so it allowed me to do extra work outside of school. It was also essential
to use as it was a way of research the target audience and what the wanted in a magazine
4. Google Search
Google search was easy to use as I am very used to it as it is something I use every day and so I am
used to using it.This was essential for me when trying to research about music magazines as it
allowed me to find out what the other magazines in my genre look like and just do some research
about their content and how they get people to buy their magazine.This was good for research as
it allowed me to view the many other magazines that are out htere and see what features I could
adapt and use in m
5. Indesign
InDesign was also another software that I wasn't really familiar with and so I had to get used to it
and so I used some tutorials online to help me find out how to use the software to the best of my
abiltiy and to make my magazine as good as it could be. I found out how to set out the pages so
that they look like a professional magazine such as the web adress and the page number that is
automatically done. I ised this software to help plan my construction of my magazine
6. Photoshop
Photoshop was slightly more easier to use as I have had some previous experience with using
photoshop and so this made my time editing the photos and making my Masthead and other
items for my magazine. Using photoshop is the most easiest way to edit the photos and make
them fit the genre of my magazine better. Photoshop was an essential part of the construction of
my media magazine as this was where I would edit and create my backgrounds and edit photos for
my magazine
7. Voki
Voki was another essential programme as it would allow me to put my words into speech without having to
record my own voice which could take a lot more time to do and so it would decrease the amount of work and
time I would waste and so giving me a lot of time that Icould use updating my media product.This programme
helped me also to evaluate why I was doing with my magazine.
8. Prezi
Prezi was a programme that helped me make a more interesting powerpoint and allowed me to put up
the chart hits which was a research I did outside of the lesson to see whether there was any rock bands in
the current charts.This programme was bad for my work as it was hard to use and would take a long time
to load up and thus wasting time I could use for something
