3. INTRODUCTION
The National Rural Employment Guarantee Act
2005 (or, NREGA No 42) later renamed as the
"Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment
Guarantee Act" (or, MNREGA), is an Indian labour
law and social security measure that aims to
guarantee the 'right to work'.
It aims to ensure livelihood security in rural
areas by providing at least 100 days of wage
employment in a financial year to every household
whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled
manual work.[1] It is one of the important scheme
being implemented by government to achieve
inclusive growth.
4. PROJECT OBJECTIVES
We have tried to develop a website based on MNREGA Employment Management where all the details
of the employee, projects of rural development will be stored in a database.
There will be two users:
• BDO
• Gram Panchayat Member (GPM)
Their primary functions will be:
1. BDO will register GPM and create projects.
2. GPM will register employees and assign projects to them.
3. GPM can check, update and delete Employee details.
5. PROJECT LAYOUT
• The E-R Diagram :
The Entity Relationship diagram
given here describes the different entitites in
the database and the attributes associated
with them.
The entities are:
BDO
Panchayat
Employee
EmpWorks
Project
6. PROJECT LAYOUT
• The Application Flow:
the application flow diagram shows how
the control flows from one web page to another.
22. PROJECT SCOPE
• The system will be available on an online platform for 24*7 accesses for the BDO and
panchayat.
• They can check or update any data whenever required.
• Common people can check the history and any data they require.
23. CONCLUSION
We have developed MNREGA EMPLOYMENT MANAGEMENT. But during this short period of time
and also due to our knowledge limitation it was not possible for us to emphasize on each sector
perfectly. Still we have tried our level best to make it happen. We have certain drawbacks in our
project which we will obviously try to modify in future. Graphically also we should modify our
pages so that they look more interactive and catchy.
24. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We take this opportunity to express our profound gratitude and deep regards to our faculty Mr.
Chandan Mukherjee for his exemplary guidance, monitoring and constant encouragement
throughout the course of this project. The blessing, help and guidance given by him time to time
shall carry us a long way in the journey of life on which we are about to embark.
