Asilio is architecturally strong, a brand dedicated to modern graphic elegance and beauty.
Setting precedence for visionary designs with directional prints and unique fabrications, the
aesthetic is a collision of contrasted and refined femininity.
With a strong focus on artistic capsules that influence and contradict, the brand continues
to grow with a unique handwriting that is passed on through each collection. High quality
campaign imagery and magazine style look books are a visual trademark and create a
farsighted experience, which chronicles the progression of the brand.
The face and creative mind behind Asilio is Cynthia Farchione, who has 12 years of industry
expertise in retail design and fashion. She has crafted her own unique design signature and
encapsulates the qualities needed for predicting trend progression and harnesses the innate
ability to turn statement pieces into wardrobe ‘must haves.’
“I set out to create collections that keep my consumers excited and wondering what might
be next for Asilio. I want each range to tell a story and to explore different realms of creative
prose where my style is memorable but ever changing.” Says Designer Cynthia Farchione.
“Asilio is an expression of my imagination, I am so lucky to be able to turn my uncharacterized
thoughts into a design that people will love; there is so much gratification when something
comes to life and is enjoyed and worn by women all around the world.” Cynthia added.
The brand has earned an international presence with its launch into the US and will continue
with its journey of creative influence.

‘Efflorescence’ was all about creating floral serenity with a
dreamscape collection to welcome the coming of spring.
The range set out to pay homage to the world-renowned
Melbourne spring racing carnival, with more classically
feminine pieces and a heavy injection of dresses and
matching co-ordinates. The introduction of another
brand exclusive floret print gave Efflorescence a touch
of whimsical beauty and became the centerpiece of the
range. Again a signature focus on textural fabrications
tied in the design handwriting carried on through each
range. The shoot was an exploration of artistic expression
and played the feminine pieces against the masculine
location.Colourful smoke for background effect provided
a subtle ambiance and had an immense graphical result
for the look book.

‘Over Exposed’ quickly became the fiercely sought after
eclectic range for the high summer season. The collection
took on several design narratives that saw classic styles
paired with the unexplored to coexist in a fluid unanimous
capsule.
A look back to the original design principles of the brand
called for a reintroduction of separates as the style that
people fell in love with at the start of the Asilio journey.
Soft silhouettes transcended an effeminate feel to the
range through lace and flowing dress pieces as highlights
and contrasted structured pieces interjected a more gallant
form to the collection.
Another brand exclusive signature print added cool, ocean
and earth tones to the heavily textured and fringed elements
derived from inspiration from overseas runway.
For the first time Asilio added a more rebellious edge to
their anthology with the inclusion of an ode to 90’s point
of interest denim story. Patchwork, printed, textured and
distressed denim styles epitomize the perfect summer
acquisition.
Featuring Georgia from Work Agency fresh from the Chanel
catwalk, shot by Michelle Tran and styled by Ricki James
Flynn – the look book placed strong focus on the prints and
textures of the fabrics from the range and resulted in quality
high fashion imagery.

Asilio welcomes the New Year and a new exciting season with the contextually names
‘MMXV’ collection launching in Myer stores around Australia.
Flowing on with its signatory style, the Asilio brand has produced another diverse
seasonal ready to wear range.
MMXV showcases quality textured fabrications as a focal point of the range that
further compliment the cut outs and cropping used throughout the design narrative.
The introduction of the brand’s exclusive signature print has become a featured
injection within the range and is offered in a variety of feminine silhouettes.
A welcomed inclusion of some Asilio favourites to the range sees the best selling
‘On the Run’ pant offered in a new seasonal colour. ‘The Fierce warrior knit’ has
also returned in a new colour palate to offer a soft transition from autumn to winter.
Highlight fringing pieces bring current catwalk trends to the stores and draped
fabrics play off as a contrast to the more classically tailored herringbone coat and
masculine shapes of crisp shirts and cigarette pants.
The look book is another masterpiece, with high quality imagery contrasting the
textured range against the cooler concrete backdrop. The campaign was shot by
Michelle Tran, styled by Ricky James Flynn and featured models Kia Low and Astrid
Hollar who has just walked in an array of shows including for Chanel and Christian
Dior at Paris fashion week.
The Collection was launched by Melbourne style icon Nadia Bartel, an ambassador/
partner for the label. Nadia’s style aligned perfectly with the range and she proved
to be the ideal choice to represent the Asilio brand for this much anticipated launch
into Myer stores.

Mise En Scène, defined as ‘staging’ or ‘direction’ took on the autumn/winter season with a
multi faceted narrative portrayed in two parts.
Part 1 opened the season with the ever signatory theme of heavily textured fabrications
to give a complex level of options to the wearer. A lace injection; inspired by Asilio
summer favourites allowed softer colour tones and more feminine silhouettes to break the
boundaries of expected boldness seen in traditional winter collections.
April had the certain inclusion of two brand exclusive plaid prints that were clashed together
as a unique design clause carrying forward the popularised plaid so recognised to Asilio
customers from last winter.
May introduced a geometric monochromatic exclusive print to the range to encourage
classic Melbournian style and reintroduce simplicity back to the range where initially colour
had been very prominent.
Knit wear highlights the capsule and offers point of interest styles found in cable knits,
curved edging and slits/cut outs to further diversify the range and project this autumn
capsule into its high winter narrative.
Dramatic shapes and edgier pieces are sequential in adding centre pieces like open back
knitwear with leather wrap arounds and long line coats.

Varied aesthetics from part 1 of the season finally meet and the high winter capsule is
welcomed as the finishing act for the collection as a whole.
Part 2 manifests cleaner design lines that transform classic shapes from Asilio favourites
into reimagined pieces. A darker colour pallet with dressy options for winter outings are
communicated through unique pieces patterned with checks, stars and houndstooth.
A must have for the season is the teal ‘Fierce Warrior Knit’ which has become a classic best
selling Asilio design. A play on the cut out elbows is carried over to a wool blend coat
and the adaptation of a shredded hem line on a knit wear piece also offers something
individualist to the capsule.
Herringbone, tweed and brocades continues the reign of heavy texturing and dark feminine
lace and organza ties in the lace injection of part 1.
Luxe angora knitwear is the final corner stone to the collection and offers warmth in several
style options.

Taking the brand into early Spring demanded something inspired and aspirational
from Asilio and was delivered with the July/August range; PRISM.
A collection based primarily around statement pieces that highlighted an enduring
drive to create directional editorial based outfitting.
When designing Prism, Asilio endeavoured to build statements rather than lifeless
wardrobe essentials but all the while acknowledged the need for a balance between
the stand outs and an element of casual wear for seasonal dressing. This became
paramount to the ranges success and was a well received decision.
With a softer colour palette positioned around monochrome with hints of peach,
soft mauves and blues, charcoals, light greys, this transitioned winter harmoniously
into a Spring state of mind.
Signatory design principles became a visionary foreground for the expansion into
key lace pieces and custom lacing seen in the highly successful ‘Girl All Mighty’ top
and ‘Back with A Vengeance’ dress. A theme that would be carried into proceeding
collections to come.
Heavy focus was placed on the inclusion of varied fabrications to denote true Asilio
styling and ease of wear, including sheer, coated tweed, lace, leatherette and denim.
2 0 1 5 | J U L Y | A U G U S T
Inspiration was drawn from classic outfits that could be embraced in new forms.
Shirting was taken to a new design level seen in the waterfall back of the ‘Walking
Tall’ shirt which was offered in a new organza fabrication and candy stripe colour way
and the ‘Snakes and Ladders’ shirt with its unique button placement.
A small knit wear injection continued the course of design diversity and boundary
pushing with conceptual knit wear designs. Shoulder cut outs, roll necks and varied
lengths of knit wear styles including laced up details from the ‘Laced Up’ Knit.
Prism launched Asilio into China as the first range to grow the brands international
sales reach in the Asian market.
Talent: Jeanne Cadieu from Work Agency, hair and make up by Kristyan Low, styling
by
Ricky James Flynn, and shot by Michelle Tran; the look book took on a really minimalist
approach to draw focus to the pieces and textures of the range. Purposeful style
choices of hair covering the models face, stark white back drops and reflective
surfaces to keep the campaign very polished.

Asilio unveiled dramatic design concepts for Spring with
the launch of ‘Dark Awakening.’
An artistic showcase of playful elegance, the collection
explores a different realm of fash-ion expressed through
a theatrical context.
Asilio’s true hand writing is carried on through the range
where a heavy focus is placed on fabrications and textures.
With an elegant mix of soft feminine pieces that paradox
bold statements of colour and hints of masculine style,
Dark Awakening illustrates true innovative couturier.
When looking at the collection in its entirety, the Asilio
audience is encouraged to feel the variations of emotions
seen throughout the design narrative. The lightness of
spring breaking through an intense, eccentric storyline
with an almost doll house meets secret garden theme.
Flowing on from previous collections, Dark Awakening
incorporates a highlight inclusion of variations of lace as
an influential trend for the upcoming seasons.
The ‘Prisoner Queen Dress’ embodies the concept of
dramatic lace detail throughout and has been the stand
out to a statement Spring collection.
Sheerandlacepiecesoffersomethinglightforthechange
in season and a notable step into warmer months ahead.
The range secured Asilio as a stand out ‘go-to’ for spring
racing and event dressing where the dramatic designs
offer a variety of styles for a mix of social occasions.
Co-ordinates feature heavily in the range and are a
frequent design inclusion across all ranges. Creating
designs with a personality has also given this dressy
dream-scape range some structure and grounding. The
classic ‘On the Run’ pants are on offer in several new
colours and the softer colour palette is complimentary to
the bolder shades seen throughout the range.

Fashion Maison, meaning ‘Fashion House’ is a deliberate attempt by Asilio to
oppose contextualised conformity. The range was designed to exploit traditional
seasonal expectations and expose intriguing new design traits.
The premise that summer collections should be filled with loose; easy to throw on
casual pieces drove Asilio to create a collection based around the opposing thought
- high end, polished structured looks to allow the range to feel extravagant and
timeless.
Fashion Maison holds strong ties to event dressing and again champions the
inclusion of custom lace texturing through dresses, skirts and body suiting.
An obsession with detail and constructing an array of silhouettes has placed high
focus on varied sleeve detailing. Another main feature for the range and a key trend
for the upcoming season, inspired from international runways.
A demand for flared pants saw a more dramatic flare in the ‘Watson Way’ pant and this
became the signature piece for the range and set the tone for more architecturally
inspired designs. Injections of bold darker colours also adhere to a trans-seasonal
palette.
2 0 1 5 | N O V | D E C
Co-ordinates, heavily textured fabrications and again a play on masculine shapes
paired alongside feminine silhouettes all bring the range to true Asilio signatory.
The shoot location and furnishings of extravagant silk drapes against the concrete
backdrop contrasted the industrialised elements of the range with a certain
gentleness.
Creating campaign imagery that aligned Asilio directly with Fashion House decorum
and habiliments.
Shot by Michelle Tran, Talent Svetlana from Chic Management, styled by Ricky James
Flynn and H&MU by Kristyan Low, the look book resonates true high fashion and
modernity.

Highlight fringing pieces bring current catwalk trends to the stores and draped fabrics play off as a contrast to the more classically tailored herringbone coat and masculine shapes of crisp shirts and cigarette pants. The look book is another masterpiece, with high quality imagery contrasting the textured range against the cooler concrete backdrop. The campaign was shot by Michelle Tran, styled by Ricky James Flynn and featured models Kia Low and Astrid Hollar who has just walked in an array of shows including for Chanel and Christian Dior at Paris fashion week. The Collection was launched by Melbourne style icon Nadia Bartel, an ambassador/ partner for the label. Nadia’s style aligned perfectly with the range and she proved to be the ideal choice to represent the Asilio brand for this much anticipated launch into Myer stores. 2 0 1 5 | J A N | F E B | M A R C H

  • 15. M I S E E N S C E N E Mise En Scène, defined as ‘staging’ or ‘direction’ took on the autumn/winter season with a multi faceted narrative portrayed in two parts. Part 1 opened the season with the ever signatory theme of heavily textured fabrications to give a complex level of options to the wearer. A lace injection; inspired by Asilio summer favourites allowed softer colour tones and more feminine silhouettes to break the boundaries of expected boldness seen in traditional winter collections. April had the certain inclusion of two brand exclusive plaid prints that were clashed together as a unique design clause carrying forward the popularised plaid so recognised to Asilio customers from last winter. May introduced a geometric monochromatic exclusive print to the range to encourage classic Melbournian style and reintroduce simplicity back to the range where initially colour had been very prominent. Knit wear highlights the capsule and offers point of interest styles found in cable knits, curved edging and slits/cut outs to further diversify the range and project this autumn capsule into its high winter narrative. Dramatic shapes and edgier pieces are sequential in adding centre pieces like open back knitwear with leather wrap arounds and long line coats. P A R T 1

  • 18. Varied aesthetics from part 1 of the season finally meet and the high winter capsule is welcomed as the finishing act for the collection as a whole. Part 2 manifests cleaner design lines that transform classic shapes from Asilio favourites into reimagined pieces. A darker colour pallet with dressy options for winter outings are communicated through unique pieces patterned with checks, stars and houndstooth. A must have for the season is the teal ‘Fierce Warrior Knit’ which has become a classic best selling Asilio design. A play on the cut out elbows is carried over to a wool blend coat and the adaptation of a shredded hem line on a knit wear piece also offers something individualist to the capsule. Herringbone, tweed and brocades continues the reign of heavy texturing and dark feminine lace and organza ties in the lace injection of part 1. Luxe angora knitwear is the final corner stone to the collection and offers warmth in several style options. Shot on Juliana Forge from Chic Management by Michelle Tran, Styled by Ricky James Flynn and H&MU by Kate Fletcher - this winter showcase takes Asilio to a new level of design complexity and story telling. • 21. P R I S M Taking the brand into early Spring demanded something inspired and aspirational from Asilio and was delivered with the July/August range; PRISM. A collection based primarily around statement pieces that highlighted an enduring drive to create directional editorial based outfitting. When designing Prism, Asilio endeavoured to build statements rather than lifeless wardrobe essentials but all the while acknowledged the need for a balance between the stand outs and an element of casual wear for seasonal dressing. This became paramount to the ranges success and was a well received decision. With a softer colour palette positioned around monochrome with hints of peach, soft mauves and blues, charcoals, light greys, this transitioned winter harmoniously into a Spring state of mind. Signatory design principles became a visionary foreground for the expansion into key lace pieces and custom lacing seen in the highly successful ‘Girl All Mighty’ top and ‘Back with A Vengeance’ dress. A theme that would be carried into proceeding collections to come. Heavy focus was placed on the inclusion of varied fabrications to denote true Asilio styling and ease of wear, including sheer, coated tweed, lace, leatherette and denim. 2 0 1 5 | J U L Y | A U G U S T
  • 22. Inspiration was drawn from classic outfits that could be embraced in new forms. Shirting was taken to a new design level seen in the waterfall back of the ‘Walking Tall’ shirt which was offered in a new organza fabrication and candy stripe colour way and the ‘Snakes and Ladders’ shirt with its unique button placement. A small knit wear injection continued the course of design diversity and boundary pushing with conceptual knit wear designs. Shoulder cut outs, roll necks and varied lengths of knit wear styles including laced up details from the ‘Laced Up’ Knit. Prism launched Asilio into China as the first range to grow the brands international sales reach in the Asian market. Talent: Jeanne Cadieu from Work Agency, hair and make up by Kristyan Low, styling by Ricky James Flynn, and shot by Michelle Tran; the look book took on a really minimalist approach to draw focus to the pieces and textures of the range. Purposeful style choices of hair covering the models face, stark white back drops and reflective surfaces to keep the campaign very polished.

  • 25. D A R K A W A K E N I N G 2 0 1 5 | S E P | O C T Asilio unveiled dramatic design concepts for Spring with the launch of ‘Dark Awakening.’ An artistic showcase of playful elegance, the collection explores a different realm of fash-ion expressed through a theatrical context. Asilio’s true hand writing is carried on through the range where a heavy focus is placed on fabrications and textures. With an elegant mix of soft feminine pieces that paradox bold statements of colour and hints of masculine style, Dark Awakening illustrates true innovative couturier. When looking at the collection in its entirety, the Asilio audience is encouraged to feel the variations of emotions seen throughout the design narrative. The lightness of spring breaking through an intense, eccentric storyline with an almost doll house meets secret garden theme.
  • 26. Flowing on from previous collections, Dark Awakening incorporates a highlight inclusion of variations of lace as an influential trend for the upcoming seasons. The ‘Prisoner Queen Dress’ embodies the concept of dramatic lace detail throughout and has been the stand out to a statement Spring collection. Sheerandlacepiecesoffersomethinglightforthechange in season and a notable step into warmer months ahead. The range secured Asilio as a stand out ‘go-to’ for spring racing and event dressing where the dramatic designs offer a variety of styles for a mix of social occasions. Co-ordinates feature heavily in the range and are a frequent design inclusion across all ranges. Creating designs with a personality has also given this dressy dream-scape range some structure and grounding. The classic ‘On the Run’ pants are on offer in several new colours and the softer colour palette is complimentary to the bolder shades seen throughout the range. • 29. F A S H I O N M A I S O N Fashion Maison, meaning ‘Fashion House’ is a deliberate attempt by Asilio to oppose contextualised conformity. The range was designed to exploit traditional seasonal expectations and expose intriguing new design traits. The premise that summer collections should be filled with loose; easy to throw on casual pieces drove Asilio to create a collection based around the opposing thought - high end, polished structured looks to allow the range to feel extravagant and timeless. Fashion Maison holds strong ties to event dressing and again champions the inclusion of custom lace texturing through dresses, skirts and body suiting. An obsession with detail and constructing an array of silhouettes has placed high focus on varied sleeve detailing. Another main feature for the range and a key trend for the upcoming season, inspired from international runways. A demand for flared pants saw a more dramatic flare in the ‘Watson Way’ pant and this became the signature piece for the range and set the tone for more architecturally inspired designs. Injections of bold darker colours also adhere to a trans-seasonal palette. 2 0 1 5 | N O V | D E C
  • 30. Co-ordinates, heavily textured fabrications and again a play on masculine shapes paired alongside feminine silhouettes all bring the range to true Asilio signatory. The shoot location and furnishings of extravagant silk drapes against the concrete backdrop contrasted the industrialised elements of the range with a certain gentleness. Creating campaign imagery that aligned Asilio directly with Fashion House decorum and habiliments. Shot by Michelle Tran, Talent Svetlana from Chic Management, styled by Ricky James Flynn and H&MU by Kristyan Low, the look book resonates true high fashion and modernity.
