Michael Hearn
Director
Michael Hearn has been working within the Fire Industry for over twenty years
and has a vast knowledge of Queensland’s fire safety legislation and regulation
requirements. Michael has completed his Certificate II in Asset Maintenance
(Fire Protection Equipment) and holds a Queensland Building Construction
Commission Licence as well as a Fire Safety Advisor Licence. A Certificate IV in
Training and Assessment allows Michael to mentor and train staff, ensuring they
have up to date industry knowledge. As the Director of the company, Michael
manages the business with a hands-on approach and is responsible for the
general running of the business and staff welfare, as well as business compliance
and Work Health Safety.
Leesa Hearn
Manager / Administration
Leesa Hearn has fourteen years industry experience. Working full time within
the business, Leesa is instrumental in policy and procedure development,
implementation and monitoring, as well as ensuring the business is achieving
its desired outcomes. Leesa assists in the general running of the company, both
in a managerial and administrative capacity. She has completed a Certificate
II in Asset Maintenance (Fire Protection Equipment) and holds a Queensland
Building Construction Commission Licence. Leesa has also completed a
Diploma of Business, Diploma of Management and a Diploma in Marketing.
Trudie Hearn
Administration
Trudie Hearn joined the family business in 2009 and works in an administration
role within the company. She has completed a Certificate III in Business
Administration and has developed a wealth of knowledge relating to products
and services. Trudie has demonstrated her ability to provide a high level of
professional and personalised service, and is dedicated to achieving the best
outcomes for clients.

Fire Technician
Warren Heald has been employed with Buddy’s Fire since 2005. He has
become an asset to the business, gaining industry knowledge through on
the job training and completing a Certificate II in Asset Maintenance (Fire
Protection Equipment). Warren holds a Queensland Building Construction
Commission Licence and works as a fully qualified fire technician within the
business. He is committed to achieving a high standard of work and strives to

Liam Johnson
Fire Technician
Liam Johnson has been employed with Buddy’s Fire since 2012. He is a fully
qualified fire technician, having completed a Certificate II in Asset Maintenance
(Fire Protection Equipment), and holds a Queensland Building Construction
Commission Licence. Liam provides professional and efficient service to an

Joshua Hurt
Assistant / Trainee Fire Technician
Joshua Hurt joined the team at Buddy’s Fire in 2014 and assists the fire
technicians when on-site. Joshua is enrolled in a Certificate II in Asset
