Mat.se, SWEDEN
Mat.se is one of the fastest growing e-commerce companies in
Sweden. The site got launched in August 2012 with a vision to
revolutionize how people shop grocery products. Mat.se got listed on
NASDAQ within 3 years of its launch.
To build a robust Grails platform for Mat.se’s e-commerce site with an
ambitious turn-around time of 4 months & an API-first design pattern.
Goal
Approach • Platform consists of 2 separate Grails applications which are loosely
coupled and communicate via Proto objects over RabbitMQ.
• Integrated with various external systems which includes Dibs, Payex &
Klarna for payment handling, Viamente for route planning & NewRelic
for application monitoring and performance analysis.
• Implemented another distinguished module called personalized shops
for various brands. It allows brands such as Nestle to create its own

MySQL to Mongo DB.

Time Warner Cable is the second largest cable telecommunications
company in the United States and serves more than 14 million customers
who subscribe to one or more of its video, high-speed data and voice

One of the key requirements TO THE NEW was entrusted with was to make
sure each functionality works in the campaign management, the way it works
on normal CQ5 pages. We had to modularize reusable component
development in responsive design and enhance the existing functionality
without forcing content re-authoring.

Mobile application security Assessment of client's application. Focusing
on discovery of vulnerabilities like, privilege escalation, parameter
bypass etc.
Goal
Approach • The initial focus was given to analyze the vulnerabilities which may be present
inside the mobile application code or client side implementation.
• The android application was found to be using the insecure implicit broadcast,
hence we developed a fake malicious android application to sniff all the
broadcast info.
• The dynamic analysis revealed vulnerabilities like mixed content, missing server
side controls, XXE attacks.
• The local database insertion query was found to be vulnerable to sql injection,
which was using insecure ways of storing confidential info.
• Though the android application was found to be very stringent in terms of
security implementations, but various android activities, services were found to
be exported insecurely.
• The iOS application has some hard coded secret keys and one default admin
account to connect to the backend server.
