• Company largely depends on natural sea catch
for the raw material. So its availability depend on
seasonality which leads to high cost
• Wages and salaries are fixed by board
• Labour turnover is very low
• Export is more focused on US and EU
• Each assistant manager managing the work of
five subordinates
16. SUGGESTIONS
• Introduce scientific farming in coastal areas.
• Workers should be involved in giving
suggestions about salaries
• Improve sales promotion activities.
• Exporting should also be focused on other
countries other than US & EU
• Manager should be given only 2-3 subordinates
to control.
17. CONCLUSION
• The company has considerably leaded over its rivals in
the fisheries industry but has stiff competition from both
local and global players.
• The company trust on increasing exports which will
boost up its growth to a great extent
• It has an ideal location which makes access to the raw
material very easy.
• It is found that a cordial relationship is maintained
between all departments for the smooth functioning and
achievement of the organizational goal of maintaining the
market leadership and company’s image.
