Amazon made a formal offer to buy 60% of Flipkart for $12B, reports CNBC. This overshadows Walmart's efforts to buy part of the Indian e-commerce site.
 
Xiaomi
Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi may have the biggest IPO since Alibaba’s $25B in 2014. Xiaomi has filed to go public in Hong Kong and could be valued at as much as $100B.
