Net neutrality
The Obama-era net neutrality rules requiring equal treatment of internet sites officially ends today. Over 20 states have filed lawsuits to keep the legislation in place.
President Trump refused to endorse a joint statement at the G7 summit in Canada, straining relations between the allies. He also criticized Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau for imposing retaliatory tariffs on the U.S.
Amazon has come under scrutiny for poor working conditions at a factory in Hengyang, China, that makes Echo speakers and Kindle e-readers. Workers have to depend on overtime to maintain a decent standard of living, says advocacy group China Labor Watch.
