Trump mulls new tariffs, Uber halts self-driving tests in Arizona, and other news

Tariffs
The Trump administration is mulling new tariffs of as much as 25% on imported cars, trucks and auto parts. The Commerce Department is looking at foreign imports’ effect on national security, according to reports.
 
Uber
Uber is stopping its self-driving car program in Arizona two months after a crash that left a pedestrian dead. The state housed Uber’s biggest testing base — about 300 test driver jobs will be affected by the move.
 
Comcast
Comcast confirmed that it’s close to finalizing an all-cash offer for most of 21st Century Fox’s assets, potentially usurping Walt Disney’s  $52B all-stock deal. The sale would include most of Fox’s assets, as well as a 39% stake in British cable provider Sky — which Fox is courting separately.
