- A Learning Content Management System (LCMS) is a multi-user environment where learning developers can create, store, reuse, manage, and deliver small units of learning content and assets called learning objects. These assets can include media files, assessment items, simulations, text, graphics and other objects which are stored in a central object repository. A robust Learning Content Management System (LCMS) facilitates the organization of learning content and effectively presents it to learners via a Learning Management System (LMS).
