time off after leaving the company
2009: building his energy-efficient home near Lake Tahoe in California
2010: Start her own Business: “Nest Labs”: a company that designs and manufactures a
sensor-driven, Wi-Fi-enabled, learning programmable thermostat, now in its third
generation.
2014: Nest was acquired by Google for $3.2B
