Big Bazaar Direct 
Kishore Biyani, Who is also Known as 
“Retail Raja” this time Comes with a new 
business model Big Bazaar Direct. 
Big Bazaar Direct is basically direct selling 
platform where franchisee will personally visit 
customers and take orders for products. The 
product will be delivered in 3-7 days.
Big Bazaar Direct Is based on Intermingling 
of three business models into one: 
• Ecommerce 
• Direct Selling 
• Franchisee 
Products offers by BBD: 
Electronic Items, Jewelry, Furniture, personal care 
products, groceries etc.
Trials 
This new initiative is test marketed in 
Nagpur and adjoining towns. 
In Nagpur, BBD has sold more than 30 
LED TV sets in just three weeks.
BBD Vision 
• One lakh franchisees in two years. 
• Business of Rs 40, 000 Crores annually. 
i.e. 
1 franchisee will earn Rs 40 lakh per annum 
so, 
100,00 franchisee X 40 lakh = Rs 40,000 Crores 
• To work without FDI.
