Leighton Contractors delivers infrastructure projects including roads, railways, tunnels, airports, buildings,
social infrastructure, water, energy and resources.
The Chevron-operated Gorgon Project is one of the world’s largest natural gas projects and the largest single
resource development in Australia’s history.

The project is developing the Gorgon and Jansz-Io gas fields, located within the Greater Gorgon area, between
130km and 220kmoff the north-west coast of Western Australia.
It includes the construction of a 15.6 million tonne per annum liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant on Barrow
Island, and a domestic gas plant with the capacity to supply 300 terajoules of gas per day to Western Australia.
Leighton Contractors is delivering the civils and underground works on the project, including the delivery of all
concrete works and underground services for the three LNG trains and off-plot utilities.
