2.  The primary focus of clinical pharmacy is the optimization of drug therapy in
individual patients.
 Training in the hospital setting also allows health staff to develop the
communication skills required to educate patients & develop good professional
relationships with prescribers & other healthcare staff.
 A teaching hospital is the ideal place for clinical pharmacy training, as staff &
students can take advantage of the learning opportunity on medical teaching
ward rounds & academic medical meetings.
 A good clinical skilled pharmacist can able to formulate strategies in a logical
manner using a variety of information sources.
 Training is the act of increasing the knowledge and skill of an employee for
doing a particular job.
