Recce Report The Hatred
Location 1:
For our first scene that we had to create Masuma was using the class room to film
the shot the scene that we recorded was medium shot showing Masuma text on
Facebook and getting upset. The risk assessment that we took in place before
filming was making sure that there was no wires on the floor, people are not running
around when filming and no interpolation when filming.
Location 2:
When recording in the street I discussed with my member of the group. We needed
to make sure the camera would be located in a place where there would be as little
risk as possible of any collision with the camera.
Windy weather is a possible risk as equipment can be knocked over, the camera
needed to hold at all times.
Fire exits are located around the street and there is a meeting point in case of fire
outside of the park. We asked to be taken through the procedure in case of fire by
the premises manager before we began filming.
For second scene we were filming outside the college next to the park. My group
before filming we checked the place weather it was save or not to film. My group
filmed the scene making sure we did not film other people that were walking on the
street, as we did not have their permission.
Activity Hazard Control Measures
Filming outdoors Loose cables could trip up
people from the public &
wet weather conditions
could prove to be slippery.
Tape down loose cables
and be aware of slippery
surfaces.
Editing on Macs for a
long time
Being in front of a screen
for to long could result in
eyestrain and headaches
& drowsiness.
To prevent this take it in
turns to edit, keep
hydrated and take short
intervals.
Travelling to location Handling heavy equipment
and crashing
Help each other carry
equipment and make sure
you have a responsible
driver.
Moving heavymachiney If dropped can be very
painful & pulling or
straining muscles
Be careful when handling
equipment. If itβs too heavy
get someone else to help.
