A list of the bidders and the winning bids for acreage offered for lease in the Ohio Wayne National Forest. The bidders are interested in drilling for natural gas (and oil) in the Utica Shale layer. WNF is a patchwork of private and public land. Much of the private land is already leased, but needs the public land in order to knit together units large enough to drill on/under, which makes this lease sale so critical to drilling in WNF.
