McKesson Homecare and Hospice customers responded to a
2014 survey designed to show how home care organizations
are responding to healthcare reform.

• 74% of respondents consider declining reimbursements to
be the greatest challenge facing their organization in 2014.
• Just over 60% of respondents want to acquire clinical
workflow tools and health data analytics to help them
address accountable care reform.
• 58% of respondents are seeking partnerships with local
health systems.
• 94% of respondents still share patient information via fax.
• Nearly three-quarters of respondents see reimbursement
cuts as the largest threat to their existing expense structure.
